Have you seen the Virginia state Senate resolution recognizing the United Cherokee Tribe of Virginia? They refer to Raleigh Pinn as Wiccocomico and Cherokee, but there is no indication of where the information comes from.

Delaware Indians

Does anyone know of a study of Delaware Indian dna? I'm not sure how well their genetic history has been documented, but I understand that they were in Pennsylvania with the early settlers and I would be interested in knowing if and how that effected the dna mixture of settlers who later moved west.

I have come across four or five John Adair, but your dates match Gen. John Adair, born in America. I don't know much about the family. I have one Adair female who married into a side branch of my family.
