Re: Are you related to King Tut?
Doesn't look like I'm related to King Tut, but I have Scythian, First Peoples, Khoisan, two Sinti checks, Rain Goddess and Yellow Emperor. Looks like my ancestors traveled the world a bit, too...

Our Neanderthal Great...grandparents
Who among us has Neanderthal great...grandparents? See http://www.nature.com/news/early-europe ... nt-1.17534 . Neanderthal physical traits are recognizable among modern human populations. My mother, sister and I each have an “occipital bun” or “Anatolian bump.” Also, I found that my mother’s two DN...

Re: Check Your DNA Here
Yes, I would think you do have Romani ancestry. I also have Sinti (Rare Genes) and Sub-Saharan II in my test results as well as Asian according to my mother's recent Cherokee test. Your Premium Upgrade should really add to your information.
Re: Welcome!
I also have Native American I and II, European I and II, Eastern European II, Jewish I, II, and III, and Scythian. Absolutely, as Sue said, first of all getting the Premium upgrade sounds like the way to go. I am not an expert but I can tell you a few things I did that might work for you. First, I h...
Re: Welcome!

Re: Do I have Cherokee Ancestry?
Hi angkorday, Here are a few more details about the DNA Consultants Special Cherokee Match Update I had done in October 2015 using my mother’s autosomal markers. Her U.S. Cherokee Admixed is at rank 25 (out of her 50 World Population Matches). Her Rank 8 was Native American - Alaskan Athabaskan whic...

Re: Do I have Cherokee Ancestry?
Hi Angkorday2, I DO have Cherokee ancestry! I had the test run with my mother's DNA. Her U.S. Cherokee Admixed ranks #25. This isn't proof of Cherokee DNA in the SHERRILL line but it's a good possibility. Maybe someday there will be preponderance of evidence of Sherrill Cherokee ancestry if enough o...

Romani DNA Tells History
What path did your Romani ancestors take after they left India centuries ago? There is no ancient written Romani history so it has been necessary to pursue knowledge of their migration through research in linguistics and genetics. Languages and language patterns common to Northern India and areas of...

Re: American Roma Surnames
Thanks for this, D.J. Here is another website containing surnames (UK). Many of the names are duplicates of those in the list you've found.
