Mongol Gene versus Lake Baikal Gene

Postby Raven » Thu Mar 25, 2021 4:20 pm

Is the Lake Baikal Gene found in European people that have deep ancestry in Asia? Or would that be the mongol Gene? I was surprised when I got the Lake Baikal Gene and a no 2 match to Indo Mongoloid Naga. Since my mom tested and didn’t get the gene it must be coming from my Dad that as far as I know his ancestors came from Germany and Ireland. Perhaps the family tree is not completely accurate or he just has an Asian ancestor from far back?
