Lake Baikal Gene

Postby Raven » Thu Jan 28, 2016 6:04 pm

I received my rare genes from history results and had the Lake Baikal gene. Is this referring to Native American ancestry or could it be Asian ancestry? I also received the Amerind gene. In my fingerprint report I received an Asian lll marker and number 2 was indo-mongoloid Naga. Is the gene showing up due to that population or is that population possibly a false positive? I also received an Asian one marker and a Native American 2 marker. Since my mom did not receive the lake Baikal gene or Asian lll marker along with matches to Mongolia and Southeast Asia, I have concluded that this is all coming from my father. I also have more Hispanic matches and higher ranked native matches than my mother.
